Cape Rosier Boat Shop is located on Horseshoe Cove in the town of Brooksville, Maine. Peter Chase built his shop to accommodate his unique style of boat building. Pete works alone, one boat at a time.

His shop accommodates boats up to 35 feet in length. He prefers to work with natural, renewable materials because he wants boatbuilding to become more biodegradeable. Most of the time you'll find Pete barefoot with classical, bluegrass, or Celtic music playing on the FM radio.
